“They’re becoming incredibly competent at mimicking intelligence, but they’re not actually thinking in any meaningful way.” That statement is key, and it’s exactly why we sound the alarm. People are increasingly turning to AI for serious advice, driven by the perception that AI “knows everything.” Just the other day, I was joking around with a kid at church about something completely trivial, and his first response was, “Wait, let me see what my phone says.”

The danger is this: perception is not reality. And I don’t think people fully grasp the ramifications. This has the potential to alter the course of history. Literally. We’re on the verge of a time when people will trust their phones (AI) over sound reasoning, research, and truth. We are really already there. It’s not far-fetched to imagine a future where Holocaust deniers are “validated” because an AI told them what they wanted to hear. That’s how powerful this deception could become.

Joe, just think about all the people using AI Companions thinking that the “know” their user. What they’re doing is homogenizing millions of social interactions from their training data and mathematically choosing the next words that statistically fit best. It makes me so sad. People still don’t understand how AI works. Thanks for using your voice and platform to warn. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

It is very sad. I count myself blessed to be in the trenches with you and others sounding the alarm!

The kid at church reply is frighteningly common now. I went to the hairdresser the other day, she was so upset because a 6 year old girl came in for a haircut, promptly opened her phone and said, this is the haircut AI says I should have. I want THIS haircut. And handed her the phone with the instructions of her AI haircut.

Wow... Frightening, indeed. Thanks for sharing, Mary Beth.

It seems the Lord has put a temporary Kabash on AI. I don’t believe it will go further until He lifts His finger. 🙌

Hmm, I wonder…I think it will just move forward. But the Lord is helping people see the lie through these types of stories. But, will they listen?

But, will they hear. It's like nobody CAN hear anymore. :-(

You nailed it AI is not intelligent it a tool that can be used for good or bad depending on who is writing it's parameters.

Yes, but it’s not surprising that people avoid using the tool/benefit wisely. It is getting very, very competent for sure. Jaw dropping, it seems, as I work with Cursor and Claude Sonnet 4 for coding.

I have been asked to affirm a pledge I made to commit to financially subscribing to you, yet I thought I already was. Could you let me know the name under which my bank would show this subscription and also, please check your records.

Sorry to ask this way but when I responded to the request via email, all I got back was a link and I am none too happy to go to links, I prefer direct communication. I ask your forgiveness if this causes problems for you.

Good morning, Julia. As I first started Substack, I wasn’t sure how it worked exactly. To my surprise, many people wanted to help me carry the cost for Rapture Kit infrastructure costs—and I’ve been so grateful. Still, for months, I hesitated as I let it percolate. I finally realized how we all need each other and decided to complete the enrollment. I think it will show up as “IAMAWATCHMAN” on your statement. Thank you for turing your pledge into a donation! Blessings, Sis!

Thank you so much for replying but is there any way you can find out if I am already giving? I have found it exceedingly complicated to access previous months' statements. I think during the almost 6 months incarceration in hospital (I have been home a week), our UK bank has been having fun changing things. This has been my first experience of chatting to a machine and I gave up in disgust!

Julia, I found you, but confirm I don't see a donation from you. It's under your email ending in ".me" Pretty cool that you did that ;)

It wasn't me that did that, it was my son who created the email addresses, many years ago now. He wanted there to be no 'dot anything' but somebody had already picked up just the pomeroy! He is a lawyer/cyber security expert and if anybody wants to start their day with a short meditation on the Word of God, his website is on You Tube and is named Phroneo.

Right, tomorrow I will go on the laptop, rather than this tablet, and donate, because I believe you need supporting. What you do is so essential.

By the way I don't suppose you could provide the link to your last 'round table', I find those so incredibly good, please?

On another tack, we subscribe to The Times & Sunday Times, as subscribers can post comments - it is frightening how intellectually ignorant those who attack me are, no reasoned or well thought out response, just name calling and the like BUT it gives me a chance to, very simply, preach the gospel. I have been doing this for at least 15 years, ever since they offered the facility and the change in attitude, in just that period, is frightening. I am glad God took us out of our godless nation, when you're in your 80s you get to feel very vulnerable.

First, I love it that you're posting on these news sites! Great mission...despite how people react. After the Rapture, they will each have their moment of pause...so I commend you, Sis! I just subscribed to your son's YT. Thanks for sharing that.

Here is our last Roundtable from 3-weeks ago!

Brilliant, thanks a bundle. Our son is not quite on the same page as we are, although he has been born again since he was 4, he's now 51! But we are on the same page as far as doctrine is concerned, he's not so sure we are that close to the Tribulation, but he's my son and I love him, what more can I do?

I have just found out about Happening Now with Amir and Jack Hibbs, which was aired yesterday with the second half being aired Sunday morning but Tom Hughes is preaching at my church! Oh decisions, decisions, time for bed though now. May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as you stay ever close to Him.
