Good word my friend... yes, only by the saturation of the revelation of God from His word can we have daily victory in this life over our sin nature.

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

That was timely and a confirmation that God is preparing us for this year in the way you described - intensified. I love how you take it to the kitchen table and I count on you telling it like it is because you have been that way as long as I have known you and it is uplifting.I appreciate hearing your process! It was helpful to say that an attack is an attack on our identity.

Thank you, Scott. I prayerfully read your article here. Damn these besetting sins! But thanks be to the Lord for providing a way of escape! I've believed that, head-wise, for a long time, but the “putting into long term practice” has been another matter. When you said, “My focus is intentional,” that really struck a chord with me. Our desire to work through these issues must be intentional. And realizing that as soon as we move intentionally to break these habits the enemy is right there intentionally trying to destroy us. He knows that he can't destroy our souls, but he does a good job of destroying our witness. Lord Jesus, come quickly! In the meantime continue to perfect the work You began in us as we intentionally desire to “work out our salvation.” Salvation is all grace no doubt. We get to participate in the sanctification process. Lord, may Your will be done.

Thank you, Brother. I say this carefully for obvious reasons, but if you’re the enemy and you attack…and what comes forth is victory and praise from your intended victim—and it happens over and over again—you’d move on, right? Imagine a chapter in the screw tape letters. The enemy HATES it when we praise God for the things He has done! Just think about that. As you said, we have to do our part. One day hopefully soon, we will shed this sin nature. What rejoicing we will offer to our King! #maranatha

Thank you for your transparency! Very refreshing!

Wise virgins have plenty of oil to see even though its dark and late. Getting oil from HIM.....one day at a time. By surrendering self, asking for counsel for each step and waiting for direction for HIS righteous acts to flow through, the bride has made herself ready!

You are so right...we need each other and so need to connect with others that JESUS knows. With what's coming, and if were still here, it will get more difficult without fellowship. Thanks for doing this and having this forum! Every blessing!
